What We Do

The New Hampshire Charter School Foundation

If you're looking to open a new school or grow an existing one - the New Hampshire Charter School Foundation is a new non-profit organization, here to help.

Charter school support has grown over the years through the efforts of many experienced and successful leaders. By combining and complementing these efforts, this new foundation will help to coordinate, and purposefully support New Hampshire Department of Education's goal of 20 new public charter schools.

We are a collection of "experienced charter school professionals" that have come together to support the establishment of new and sustainable charter schools within the state of New Hampshire, providing ongoing and experienced guidance, networking, and operational support.

Mission Statement

“Supporting best practices for the creation, development and successful operation of charter schools and private schools in New Hampshire, and the advancement of school choice.”

Helping others. It's what we do.

Our Goals

With a federal grant of $46,000,000 for the creation of new charter schools and the expansion of current ones, New Hampshire is in a position to transform the educational landscape of the state to one of meaningful school choice for all New Hampshire families. The New Hampshire Charter School Foundation (NHCSF) has been created to take advantage of this magnificent opportunity to work with other charter school groups and the New Hampshire Department of Education to make this happen.

There are three areas where we hope to be of help: consulting (charter applications, presentation to the New Hampshire Board of Education, and reporting), facilities and finance (group purchasing, fundraising, and lease aid), and networking (professional development events and curriculum for teachers, trustees, parents).

With educational issues in the news as never before, there has never been a better opportunity or a greater need to create public schools of choice than right now. The experienced members of the New Hampshire Charter School Foundation are ready and eager for this challenge.
